Comparison

Looking for a FitRoom alternative? An honest comparison.

FitRoom and TryOnFusion both put clothes on your photo with AI, but they are built for different people. Here is a fair comparison — including when FitRoom is the better choice.

When FitRoom is the better choice

We would rather you pick the right tool. FitRoom is likely the better fit if:

  • You want ready-made models to see clothes on, rather than your own photo.
  • You are a seller or developer and need a try-on API for your own shop or app.
  • You need an iPhone app today (TryOnFusion’s is coming soon).
  • You need try-ons involving children — TryOnFusion is adults-only by design.

When TryOnFusion is the better choice

TryOnFusion is built around people trying things on themselves and the people they shop with:

  • Couple and group try-ons, with a different outfit for each person, in one picture.
  • Whole looks: hair, outfit and scene — including uploading the real venue.
  • Importing from almost any shop’s product link on Android, done privately on your phone.
  • No subscription: free stars to start, then star packs only if you need them.
  • A clear privacy position: photos are never used to train AI and can be deleted any time.

Pricing, compared fairly

TryOnFusion uses stars instead of a subscription. New accounts get 100 free stars and a free Standard try-on each day while the balance is low; an individual Standard try-on costs 10 stars and Pro costs 25. Packs start at 40 stars and never expire.

FitRoom offers a free start and lists its plans on its own pricing page; we have not reproduced its prices here because they are not shown on its home page and may change. Compare the cost per try-on you actually need — single photos, Pro quality or group looks — rather than the headline price.

Frequently asked questions

Is TryOnFusion free like FitRoom?

Both let you start free. TryOnFusion gives 100 free stars on signup and a free Standard try-on daily while your balance is low, with no subscription.

Can TryOnFusion put clothes on a model instead of me?

No. TryOnFusion only works with photos you upload of yourself or adults who have agreed to it. If you need stock models, FitRoom offers them.

Does TryOnFusion have an API for shops?

Not at the moment. FitRoom offers a try-on API for developers.
